About

As a dual qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor and Coach, and Mental Health and Wellbeing Consultant, registered member of the BACP and EMCC Global (accreditation in progress), I offer a unique perspective at the intersection of traditional mental health and tailored support.

I support individuals seeking counselling and coaching, as well as groups and teams within organisations looking for mental health and wellbeing training/workshops and coaching. I help them navigate the emotional complexities of their lives, work, and relationships, creating spaces for reflection and adjustment that restore meaning, balance, and lasting alignment.

My practice follows a neurodiversity-informed approach, offering sessions in both English and French. Drawing on my experience as a French practitioner in the UK, I provide culturally sensitive care that honours and respects the diverse backgrounds of all my clients.

WHO AM I?

I was born in France and moved to the United Kingdom shortly after my thirties, a change that has profoundly shaped both the person and the practitioner I am today.

My professional journey has taken me through business sales, the pharmaceutical industry, and education. Each experience has helped me develop a deeper understanding of human beings as whole individuals, of their interactions, and of the everyday challenges they face.

My interest in psychotherapy and coaching grew from the loss of two close relatives at a young age, and from my own journey through grief, trauma, and complex relationships. I later returned to study coaching and psychotherapy, seeking to connect my personal history, professional experience, and passion for human development.

Accompanying others is a privilege, and I am committed to continuing my exploration of what it means to be fully human.

Counselling and Coaching

Every therapist and coach works differently. When seeking support, it can be difficult to navigate the large number of professionals available online. It is natural to wonder: How do I choose? Who is the person behind the website? And how do I know if I can trust them?

In both therapy and coaching, this trust has a name: the therapeutic alliance or the coach–coachee relationship.

It is this relationship that allows the work to take shape. In therapy, it means creating a safe space where you can feel welcomed, heard, and free to bring what you need. In coaching, it involves establishing a clear and supportive partnership that encourages reflection, autonomy, and action. This trust cannot be assumed; it is built gradually, at a pace that feels right for you.

Here, you will find clear and practical information to help you understand my two approaches and sense whether my way of working resonates with you.

My work is grounded in two main approaches:

  • Psychodynamic Counselling
  • Coaching Focused-Therapy

My two approaches are Neurodiversity informed

My work is always tailored to your unique way of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world. I deeply believe that change emerges from being truly seen, understood, and supported, especially if life has not always offered you that experience.

My Psychodynamic Counselling Approach

People rarely seek therapy when everything is going well. They usually come when something feels painful, repetitive, or too heavy to carry alone. This distress can take many forms: anxiety, panic, depression, stress, difficulties at work, family tensions, grief, separation, illness… Sometimes, it is the body that speaks through pain, tension, fatigue, or other physical symptoms.

Psychodynamic work is based on a simple principle: not everything we feel, think, or do is fully conscious. Our current difficulties often have their roots in early experiences, particularly in childhood, or in long-standing patterns that have developed over time.

What I offer

I pay close attention to what lies beneath the surface: your emotions, recurring patterns, relationships, the parts of you that remain in the background or feel unclear, and what your body may be expressing.

By developing this inner awareness and understanding how past experiences or buried emotions continue to influence your present life, you can begin to discover new ways of relating to yourself and to the world.

The therapeutic relationship is central to this work. I offer a compassionate presence, a safe and containing framework, and a collaborative relationship. You can expect curiosity, empathy, a gentle form of challenge, and a space where whatever emerges is welcome. It is also entirely normal to experience resistance, to want to avoid certain topics, to feel uncertain, or to pull back at times.

Within a psychodynamic approach, this is not an obstacle, it is valuable material. We explore it together, carefully and safely, to deepen the work.

Initial consultation

Seeking help can feel unsettling. It is natural to experience fear, uncertainty, or vulnerability. To support this first step, I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation by phone or Zoom. This is a simple opportunity to meet, ask questions, and see whether the space and the relationship feel right for you.

Therapy sessions

In psychodynamic counselling, sessions usually take place weekly, on a fixed day and time agreed together based on our mutual availability. This time and space are dedicated to you, it is, in a way, an appointment with yourself.

The work is generally open-ended, allowing for deep and meaningful exploration. The first session is usually held online, even if you are considering face-to-face sessions thereafter. It is an initial assessment of your needs and an opportunity for us to review the service agreement, fees, and practical arrangements together.

Sessions are online via Zoom or in-person at the Cambridge consulting room, on Fridays.

My approach in Coaching focused Therapy

I help professionals manage stress, overcome career obstacles, and unlock their full potential. If work-related anxiety is slowing you down, I’m here to help you regain clarity and control. Whether you want to grow in your current role, explore a new career path, create a healthier work-life balance, or boost your confidence, I’ll support you not just to move forward, but to truly thrive in your career and life.

Coaching Focused therapy combines the goal-focused approach of coaching with the depth and insight of psychodynamic therapy. This way, we can work on your goals and concrete actions while also exploring emotional blocks and repeating patterns that might be holding you back.

By blending these two approaches, you’ll often notice changes that are faster, more consistent, and longer lasting. Together, we’ll look both at what’s stopping you and how to move forward, creating a clear and realistic action plan.

We can tailor the sessions to suit your needs:

  • More coaching (action, goals, performance)
  • More therapy (emotions, trauma, patterns)
  • Or a balanced mix of both

Everyone is unique, and your support will be too. I’ll be by your side throughout the process, with care, understanding, and commitment.

My Neurodiversity-Informed Coaching Focused-Therapy Approach

You feel completely overwhelmed, exhausted, and mentally or emotionally overloaded.

You feel like you constantly have to adapt, hide your difficulties, or “put on a mask” to meet professional or social expectations.

You go back and forth between periods of intense over-engagement and times of blockage, procrastination, or loss of motivation.

You notice that stress is building up, leading to irritability, anxiety, sleep problems, or deep exhaustion and sometimes even approaching burnout.

In my practice with clients who are ADHD, ASD, dyslexic/dyscalculic/dyspraxic (DYS), and gifted, I have observed that many arrive with intense emotional experiences, sometimes marked by a lack of support, particularly when their parents were themselves neurodivergent. These early experiences continue to shape their emotions, perceptions, and ways of functioning today, often in connection with the demands of daily, professional, and relational life.

These observations have led me to offer an integrated approach combining therapy and coaching. Drawing on psychodynamic principles, I invite you to explore your personal history through the lens of your neurodiversity, to understand old patterns that may have once protected you but now limit your potential, and to clarify your choices in order to align your capabilities with your current experience.

From a coaching perspective, my approach combines education, reflection, and the collaborative creation of practical strategies. This brings structure, direction, and orientation toward growth and clearly defined goals. You can expect a safe, compassionate, and open space, with thoughtful interpretations and a gentle form of challenge that supports both personal and professional development.

Based on this foundation, we may work on areas such as:

  • Executive functioning difficulties (dysfunctions in the prefrontal cortex, disrupting planning, organization, inhibition, and mental flexibility).
  • Social interaction challenges
  • Masking/shame
  • Short-term memory difficulties
  • Disorganisation
  • Procrastination
  • Emotional reactivity
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Self-advocacy and low self-confidence
  • Energy management and overwhelm
  • Navigating transitions and change
  • Boundaries
  • Over-adaptation and over-responsibility (people-pleasing)
  • Overwork and burnout
  • Sensory overload
  • Interoception (variations in how people sense internal bodily signals)

Over time, many clients notice:

  • A clearer understanding of their strengths and talents
  • More effective management of challenges through practical tools and strategies
  • A deeper understanding of themselves
  • More authentic and secure relationships
  • Greater emotional stability
  • A clearer sense of identity, enabling self-advocacy
  • Increased confidence in daily life
  • A growing path toward self-acceptance

This is a simple opportunity to get to know each other, ask questions, and see if the space and the relationship feel right for you.

Coaching-Focused Therapy Sessions
